Julie Reinhardt brings nearly three decades of experience to her role as community development director for Downtown Lansing Inc. Led by her passion for building ecosystems that allow entrepreneurs and small businesses to succeed, Julie has found her professional niche in downtown development. 

With a can-do attitude for programming, recruiting, and small business retention, Julie is known for her signature “We should build it!” approach. Her drive to put in the work necessary to activate spaces allows creative solutions to come to life within the ever-changing economic landscape. Her past professional experiences across diverse industries afford her a unique perspective in the areas of merchandising, marketing, management, team building, and sales coordination — to name a few.

When it comes to Downtown Lansing, Julie is proud to play a hands-on role in reimagining Michigan’s Capital City. She is passionate about using her expertise to continue demonstrating recovery, growth, and innovation in today’s business models, and considers this point in Downtown Lansing’s history to be a once in a lifetime opportunity to continue positive momentum and change.
