Historic Women of Washington Square Scavenger Hunt

This Women’s History Month, the Nelson Gallery is shining a spotlight on some of the incredible women — past and present — who have shaped Downtown Lansing. Now, it’s your turn to find them!

How it works:

1. Pick up a clue sheet at any participating retailer or download the pdf.
2. Use the clues to find photos of these wonderful women displayed in shops along the 100 & 200 blocks of South Washington Square. To help you out, there will be a poster in the shop’s window that marks it as a scavenger hunt stop.
3. Get your sheet stamped at each stop.
4. Once you’ve found them all, turn in your completed sheet at Nelson Gallery by March 31!

The first 50 participants to finish will receive an event-exclusive umbrella to get ready for those April showers!

All completed entries are entered into a drawing for a grand prize gift basket featuring some sweet swag from Washington Square retailers.
