The streets of Downtown Lansing are about to be swarmed by hordes of zombies as the 13th Annual Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk is set to take place this Saturday afternoon. While the pandemic may have slowed down the bustling downtown activity, this event promises to bring some undead excitement to the area.

The zombie walk will begin at 5:45 p.m., starting from the Impressions 5 Science Center. Participants will stagger westbound down Michigan Avenue, making their way towards the state Capitol building. This unique event not only provides an opportunity for people to embrace their inner zombies but also supports a good cause.

Bring along nonperishable food items as donations for the Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) during the event. The GLFB aims to combat hunger in the local community and your contributions will greatly help those in need. Additionally, there will be contests held during the zombie walk, including categories for the best zombie in both adult and child divisions.
