Dear Downtown Lansing,
Fall has arrived in our city, bringing cool air and beautiful changes. Walking along the Grand River, I notice how everything looks different.
The River Trail is full of color now. Maple trees have turned bright red, and oak trees are golden. Leaves fall into the river, making it look like a colorful painting.
People are enjoying the season too. Runners and bike riders pass by, taking in the pretty sights. Squirrels are busy preparing for winter, reminding us that life keeps moving forward.
Lansing, you look your best in autumn, especially by the river. It shows how strong and ever-changing our city is.
As the days get shorter and the sunsets turn orange and pink, I feel thankful to be here. It’s amazing how our city life blends with nature’s beauty.
With love,
Chioma Lewis
