Annual event invites community Downtown for an evening of Halloween-themed family fun.
LANSING, Mich. (Oct. 5, 2023) – Downtown Lansing Inc. (DLI) announces the return of its annual Trick or Treat on the Square event on Oct. 27, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. Community members are invited to come out to trick or treat and enjoy Halloween-themed family fun as they shop, dine and lift up local businesses along the 100-300 blocks on S. Washington Square in Downtown Lansing.
Our annual Trick or Treat on the Square event is a fun way for families to celebrate Halloween while also supporting our incredible local businesses,” said Cathleen Edgerly, Executive Director of DLI. “Get your costumes ready and come out and explore all of the great things happening in Downtown Lansing.”
Trick or Treat on the Square is a free community event that features local businesses in the Downtown District. In addition to Halloween-themed activities, businesses will also be open for regular services and operations. Attendees will be able to tell which participating businesses they should stop into by looking for the orange balloons and Halloween window décor marking their participation in the event.
More than 20 restaurants, shops and other Downtown businesses will be participating in this year’s event. In addition to trick-or-treating, guests can enjoy other activities around the square such as costume contests, games and more.
