The Jump Off [Beat Battle]

Lansing’s premier producer showcase & beat battle returns for 2026.

On May 16th from 12 PM – 4 PM, 8 producers from across the region will go head-to-head, beat for beat, competing for a $500 cash prize and serious bragging rights at the Record Lounge in REO Town.

This tournament-style showdown puts behind-the-scenes creators front and center—battling round by round in front of a live crowd.

Each competitor plugs in and performs directly from their weapon of choice—MPC, SP-404, laptop, or even a phone. It’s not what you use, it’s how you use it and we’re your witnesses!

Special guest judges include Ess Be, RyNea Soul, They Call Me Heat, and Flip A Beat Club founder Mon$Rock from Sacramento, California
