Michigan Community Street Pet Clinic
The Michigan Community Street Pet Clinic (MSCSC) is an MSU student-run nonprofit providing FREE vet care (exams, vaccines, microchips, spay/neuter) for pets of people experiencing homelessness or extreme hardship in the Lansing area.
- Focus: Free care for vulnerable populations (homeless/low-income).
- Services: Exams, vaccines, microchips, spay/neuter, pet food.
- Events: Bi-annual, free, pop-up clinics in Lansing (Reutter Park often used).
- Who: MSU Vet students and other volunteers.
Companion Animal Neuter & Immunization Project (CSNIP):
- Focus: Low-cost, accessible care for low-income families in West Michigan.
- Services: Full vet care (spay/neuter, vaccines, wellness).
- Process: Appointments needed (3-4 weeks out), $20 deposit required.
- Location: Walker, MI.
