Solstice on the Square

Solstice on the Square

It turns out group singing is very high on the list of things we love. As is getting the community together. So, please join us on the 100 South block of Washington Square for a bit of both.

This is a very unstructured and probably chaotic group caroling event for the Solstice. What better time to build joy with our collective voices?

There are no bathrooms or creature comforts to speak of. (I mean, downtown at 7:00 pm on a Sunday in the winter? It’s uncharted territory, and we’re practically pioneers!)

So think of this like your average outdoor adventure:

  • Dress to keep yourself warm.
  • Bring your own sustenance if you think you’ll get hungry or thirsty.
  • Maybe bring an umbrella if there is precipitation. Or even your camp chair.
  • Definitely bring your phone, as we’ll publish a lyrics list for you to follow along.
  • Bring your friends and family because the more voices, the better.
  • And maybe bring a flashlight or some other glowing bit for vibes.

Singing starts promptly at 7:00 pm. We anticipate 45 minutes to an hour of singing. We’d love to see lots of you there.

Peace and love and dark winter nights!
