Capital Area District Libraries Summer Reading Program

Kids Reading

Written by Melissa Cole

The Capital Area District Libraries kicked off the Summer Reading Program in June. CADL has lots of fun summer programs to keep families entertained and engaged. From Magicians, Jugglers, Animal Visit, and more, there’s something for all families.

There is also the Summer Reading Challenge where patrons can track their reading and do activities to earn points, then turn those points into prizes! The amount of reading, types of activities, and prizes available are different for each age group: Babies & Toddlers, Children, Teens, and Adults. Choose your Challenge and sign up now! For more information about summer reading visit CADL’s website or stop in the library.
