DLI is powered by passionate volunteers who contribute through our four volunteer-led committees: Business Development, Design and Public Spaces, Promotions, and Organization. These committees bring together dedicated community members who share a deep love for our city and a strong commitment to shaping its future.
- Business Development Committee: This team works to support and attract businesses to Downtown Lansing, fostering economic growth and sustainability. From providing resources to small business owners to brainstorming innovative ways to strengthen our business ecosystem, this committee is vital in creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
- Design and Public Spaces Committee: Focused on enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of Downtown Lansing, this committee works on projects like public art installations, streetscape improvements, and placemaking initiatives. - Promotions Committee: Love planning events and spreading the word about all things Downtown Lansing?
