As a volunteer-led organization, we are thankful for those who contribute their time, expertise, and passion to Downtown Lansing Inc. activities and programs. As we close out this calendar year, we’d like to feature a group of volunteers who spent the past 5-6 months brainstorming ideas, planning the entertainment and event layout, reaching out to donors, and promoting the 2nd annual Big Red Ball fundraising gala.
The Big Red Ball is more than just an event – it’s a call to action for those in our region to contribute to the transformation of Michigan’s Downtown! To make this second year event festive, fun, memorable, and meaningful – the Host Committee members not only met twice each month – they put in countless hours pulling together silent auction donations, designing creative promotional imagery, finalizing the menu, inviting their networks to join in the evening’s celebration, and working throughout the event to ensure all went smoothly.
Thank you to this year’s Big Red Ball Host Committee for creating bold looks, big energy, and sharing your love of Downtown Lansing as we all continue to come together to build a stronger and more sustainable future for Michigan’s Downtown!
