The Michigan Farmers Market Association’s (MIFMA) Farmers Markets at the Capitol are a summer tradition in downtown Lansing, featuring fresh Michigan-grown produce, baked goods, honey, flowers, meats, handmade products, and more from local vendors. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of food trucks throughout the day.
The next market will be held Tuesday, July 28th, followed by Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, on the Michigan State Capitol lawn.
The mission of the Farmers Markets at the Capitol is to create a vibrant marketplace that showcases Michigan food and agricultural products while connecting residents with local farmers and food producers.
The market accepts SNAP Bridge Cards, Double Up Food Bucks, and select Senior Market FRESH and WIC Produce Connections benefits, helping make fresh, local food accessible to more Michigan residents.
The final Farmers Market at the Capitol of the 2026 season will take place on Sept. 22, 2026.
