LANSING, MI — The Lansing Lugnuts, the High-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, will have a new general manager when the 2023 season begins in downtown Lansing.
Zac Clark has been named general manager replacing Tyler Parsons, who is departing mid-Michigan to become the new general manager of the Triple-A Durham Bulls.
Clark, a native of Dansville and graduate of Central Michigan University, previously served as assistant GM since 2021.
“Getting the chance to be the GM of the Lugnuts is the one goal I set for myself when I started out in this industry for many reasons, but primarily because this is my hometown team,” Clark said in a press release. “I cannot thank Tyler enough for everything he has done for me and the Lansing community. I know he will continue to do big things in Durham. I’m grateful to our owner, Tom Dickson, for believing in me to continue all of the success that the Lugnuts have built here in Lansing.”
