Lugnuts Excited about Prospects of Larger Crowds

The Lansing Lugnuts were operating at 20% capacity when they opened the stadium gates to fans for their season opener earlier this month.

During the middle of their upcoming homestand, the Lugnuts will be able to have full capacity at Jackson Field in downtown Lansing.

Bigger crowds at the stadium are now a possibility for the Lugnuts and other professional and high school sports teams after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced Thursday morning that outdoor attendance restrictions in Michigan would be lifted June 1.
