Roxy Hayes-Brown is part of the brain trust that created The Artist Umbrella, an artist collective that gives local artists a safe and diverse place to shine! She has been involved with DLI through various events, volunteering, and the creation of The Gold Mine, a retail gallery within Middle Village Micro-Market. She has thrown herself head-first into all things downtown and we couldn’t do it without her as part of the volunteer team! Most recently she facilitated a passion project in honor of Brandon Navin, a beloved DLI volunteer himself, that produced beautiful and uplifting artwork in the intersection of Washtenaw and Washington Sq! Organizing the artists, and facilitating the design has brought this project to life. Thank you Roxy for all you do to beautify Downtown and making a difference in the city!
