Where to Park for the 40th Annual Silver Bells in the City

Downtown Lansing is lighting up for LEPFA’s 40th Annual Silver Bells in the City, and we’re here to help you navigate parking options for this magical event! Whether you’re coming for the Electric Light Parade, live performances, or the breathtaking fireworks finale, here’s how to make sure your evening starts smoothly.

Free Parking Options

Starting at 4:00 PM, the following State of Michigan surface lots are offering free parking:

  • Allegan Visitor Lot
  • Library Visitor Lot
  • Elliott-Larsen Lot (excluding Executive spaces)
  • Allegan Lot
  • Ottawa Lot
  • Butler Lot
  • Pine Lot

At 5:00 PM, free parking also becomes available at the State of Michigan Roosevelt Ramp.
Note: If you park in the Roosevelt Ramp, access to the Walnut Street entrance will be restricted until 30 minutes after the fireworks show (approximately 8:30 PM) due to safety protocols.

City of Lansing Parking Ramps

The North Capitol, North Grand, and South Capitol ramps, along with city surface lots, offer parking at a flat fee of $5.

Museum Drive Parking

For a convenient option that gives back, park on Museum Drive starting at 4:00 PM for $10. Proceeds directly benefit the Riverwalk Theatre, supporting local arts and culture.
